About The Position
The position of Elementary Science & Technology Specialist is designed to provide content development, coaching, and instructional leadership for teachers within the Alief Independent School District. The specialist will collaborate with Campus and District Instructional Leadership Teams to enhance the integration of technology in teaching strategies. Responsibilities include assisting teachers with effective teaching strategies, serving as a coach for new teachers, facilitating the selection and use of supplemental materials, and keeping staff informed about new programs and software. The specialist will also assist in aligning technology integration at the campus level, making budget recommendations, and managing network troubleshooting while serving as a liaison with Technology Services and Digital Learning. Additionally, the specialist will support the vision of Alief ISD and maintain a high attendance rate.
