About The Position

The Regional Distribution Center Coordinator is responsible for ensuring that contracted third party logistics companies throughout the United States are meeting BSH's expectations and standards. This role involves being the first point of contact within BSH US for RDC's management in relation to contractual regulations, developing and updating BSH standards for RDC's, and monitoring the implementation of assigned standards and requirements. The coordinator will lead coordination with BSH warehouses to optimize customer delivery processes, conduct regular audits, assist in the tender process for selecting warehouse service providers, and ensure compliance with safety regulations. The position requires regular communication with RDC management to address issues and optimize processes.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Logistics, Supply Chain, or similar field
  • 3-5 years of experience in Logistics or Warehousing
  • SAP experience
  • Good knowledge of warehousing fundamentals
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal, and analytical skills
  • Knowledge of international and domestic transportation regulations
  • Travel Percentage - 50%

Responsibilities

  • First point of contact within BSH US for RDC's management in relation to contractual regulations
  • Development, roll-out and update of BSH standards for RDC's
  • Ongoing monitoring of implementation of assigned standards, requirements and tasks by RDC's
  • Ensure proper know-how transfer to RDC's related to BSH processes
  • Leads coordination with BSH warehouses to optimize customer delivery processes
  • Provide regular RDC audits according to defined scope and schedule
  • Assist Logistics Buyer in the tender process for selecting warehouse service providers
  • Cooperation with all logistics structures to optimize RDC's operation and performance
  • Regular information exchange with RDC's management to optimize processes
  • Cost and invoice control for RDC's services
  • Partner with BSH's Transportation to ensure expected service levels are met
  • Escalate irregularities or changes in cooperation with the RDCs
  • Participate in projects, working groups and committees as necessary
  • Ensure RDCs meet all BSH safety regulations
  • Assist Manager in ensuring process indicators are met
  • Perform all other duties as assigned
