About The Position

This position is responsible for providing high-quality customer service while scheduling primary care appointments across the east region of Indiana. The role involves accurately scheduling patient visits, verifying insurance, and ensuring smooth communication between patients and healthcare teams. Additionally, the position requires working closely with backline nurses when patients call with critical symptoms, ensuring urgent cases are appropriately escalated. Requirements

  • At least one year of experience in hospital or physician Revenue Cycle strongly preferred.
  • Requires working knowledge of patient registration and financial clearance.
  • Requires a high level of interpersonal and problem solving skills.
  • Requires effective written and verbal communication skills.
  • Requires the ability to work within a team and maintain collaborative relationships.
  • Requires the ability to take initiative and meet objectives.

Nice To Haves

  • Insurance experience preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Schedule and confirm primary care appointments for patients across multiple clinics.
  • Verify patient information and insurance details to ensure accurate scheduling.
  • Provide excellent customer service by addressing patient inquiries and assisting with appointment-related concerns.
  • Follow established protocols to escalate critical patient symptoms to backline nurses for further evaluation.
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date records in the scheduling system.
  • Adhere to departmental productivity, quality, and service standards to support operational goals.
