Together, let’s embrace possibilities and change lives! RCM Subsidiary Team Lead The RCM Subsidiary Team Lead’s primary responsibility is to support their supervisor. The position assists with oversight, monitoring and assigning workload for specific aspects of subsidiary Accounts Receivable (AR). The Team Lead is responsible for special reporting and will be called upon to assist with root cause analysis of problems, employee mentoring and training, and to provide high level communication on behalf of the team.

Requirements

High school diploma or equivalent required
3-5 years of experience in laboratory medical billing required
Previous experience in Labcorp Subsidiary billing required
Demonstrates ability to positively and successfully oversee tasks to meet objectives strongly preferred
Must be committed to productive relationships with employees, peers, management and impacted departments within Labcorp strongly preferred
Strong, professional oral and written communication skills are strongly preferred
Strong knowledge of the specific AR responsibility under the Lead’s oversight (Client Billing, Insurance AR, etc) strongly preferred
Ability to evaluate, develop or improve processes strongly preferred
Competent and skilled with Microsoft Outlook, Word and Excel strongly preferred
Preference to candidates who are knowledgeable on Xifin, Telcor and other subsidiary billing systems strongly preferred

Responsibilities

Monitor workload, establish objectives and make assignments for client billing and collection activities
Ensure productive, responsive and effective communication occurs with clients who have questions or concerns on their bills / charges. Monitor for follow-through
Oversee client collection activities in compliance with Labcorp timelines and policies
Provide communication to management, Finance and Sales on status of client collections and specific client payment issues. Provide special reports upon request
Assist supervisor with employee training and special projects upon request
Monitor workload, establish objectives and priorities, and make assignments for working third party accounts receivable and denials
Ensure staff effectively work the AR, monitor for quality and productivity, and assist with staff questions
Assist with root cause and trend analysis for AR issues – communicate unusual issues to leadership. Provide special reports upon request
Assist supervisor with employee training and special projects upon request
Maintain employee access to all billing software, websites, payment sites, clearinghouses, etc for assigned subsidiaries
Facilitate employee access to network locations and other Labcorp software necessary to their position
Ensure adherence to Labcorp policies and procedures for new employee access and deactivation of access
Maintain documentation of all website access including URLs, individual employees access, Administrators, etc
Maintain a concise process and documentation for deactivation of departing employees
