AECI’s Thomas Hill Power Plant is seeking an exceptional candidate for a Reliability-Centered Maintenance (RCM) Engineering internship for the summer of 2026.

Requirements

• Current students enrolled in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering (Mechanical preferred) with at least two years completed toward a Bachelor of Science degree.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills, organizational skills, and a commitment to punctuality and attendance.
• Experience with engineering software tools (e.g., AutoCAD, MATLAB) is a plus.
• A proactive attitude with a strong interest in the power production industry.

Responsibilities

• Assist Reliability and Predictive Maintenance Engineers in various engineering tasks focused on increasing the reliability of our coal and gas plant fleet.
• Participate in projects that may require overnight or extended stays at our plant sites in MO, OK, AR.
• Support the design and implementation of reliability improvement initiatives across multiple sites.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to troubleshoot and solve complex engineering challenges.
• Gather and analyze data to improve operational efficiency and reduce downtime.
