This position focuses on the verification of transport and patient data, ensuring compliant coding and billing according to payer claims specifications. The role involves demographic and medical coverage verification, identifying transport call and response disparities, and reviewing details such as vehicle type, pickup and drop-off locations, mileage, and transport dates. The candidate will also assign appropriate Level of Service and Diagnosis Codes to ambulance claims and communicate professionally with customers and financial services staff.
