About The Position

The RCM Application Analyst provides operational support for the daily maintenance and configuration of Beacon’s billing and collection systems. This role works closely with the RCM Manager to ensure systems are updated with accurate data, billing edits, and fee schedules to minimize denials and maximize revenue capture. The Analyst plays a key role in troubleshooting data discrepancies and maintaining system hygiene.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in business, healthcare, or related field, or equivalent work experience.
  • Minimum of 2 years of experience in medical billing, claims analysis, or healthcare IT support.
  • Strong technical proficiency in Excel and experience with billing software configuration.
  • Detail-oriented with strong analytical and problem-solving skills, particularly regarding codes and fee schedules.
  • Excellent communication and organizational skills.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).

Responsibilities

  • Perform daily administration and maintenance of billing systems, including user management and system updates.
  • Maintain and update fee schedules across all payers and locations to ensure accurate reimbursement.
  • Build, test, and maintain billing edits and rules to improve clean claim rate.
  • Investigate and resolve RCM application issues and resolve support tickets.
  • Generate routine reports on system performance, denial trends, and collection metrics for RCM leadership.
  • Collaborate with RCM leadership to support the testing and rollout of new system features.
  • Perform any other duties as assigned.
