About The Position
The Riverside County Information Technology (RCIT) Department delivers essential IT services to County departments and agencies, playing a critical role in managing and securing the County's enterprise systems and mission-critical infrastructure. RCIT is currently seeking a motivated and tech-savvy student intern to join our CIM Field Support team! As a member of the CIM Field Support team, you'll gain hands-on experience with the installation, maintenance, and troubleshooting of a wide range of systems, including County telephone and data networks, backup power systems, and audio-visual and paging systems. Approximately 95% of the work is performed in the field, providing support directly at customer locations throughout the County. This is an excellent opportunity to explore the inner workings of a large-scale enterprise IT environment and develop practical skills in a cross-functional setting. Our core technologies include the Cisco and Microsoft product suites, with access to a broad range of tools within those ecosystems.
