About The Position

The role you’ll contribute involves assisting physicians in performing a variety of specialized cardiovascular procedures. This position supports diagnostic and interventional catheterization, pacemaker/defibrillator implantation, intra-aortic balloon pump operation, and electrophysiology studies. The role ensures the proper setup and operation of equipment during procedures, monitors patient status, and documents procedure details accurately. Additionally, this position collaborates with the healthcare team to provide comprehensive patient care.

Requirements

• Technical/Vocational School Graduate of an accredited program in invasive cardiovascular technology Required or Associate Required or Bachelor's Required.
• Basic Cardiac Life Support (BCLS) Required
• RCIS - Registered Cardiovascular Invasive Specialist Required or RCES - Registered Cardiac Electrophysiology Specialist Required or Registered Technologist - Cardiac-Interventional Radiography (RTCI) Required.

• Certified Surgical Assistant (CSA)
• Certified Surgical Technologist (CST) - Cert
• Advanced Cardiac Life Support Cert (ACLS)

Responsibilities

• Evaluates and documents patient status, responding appropriately to ensure optimal outcomes.
