Requirements

  • High school diploma or GED; or one to three months related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience (required)
  • Strong communication skills, attention to detail, and ability to work collaboratively in a team
  • Applicants for this position must be able to produce a negative drug test
  • Employees in this position must be able to satisfactorily perform the essential functions of the position.

Responsibilities

  • Assist professional nursing staff in providing care to Assisted Living residents
  • Support residents with daily living activities including personal care, providing fresh water, maintaining cleanliness, changing linens, weighing residents, preparing for meals, and distributing nourishments
  • Ensure Resident Rights are upheld and report any suspected abuse or neglect
  • Serve as a temporary stepping stone toward obtaining healthcare licensure (CNA, LPN, RN, etc.)
