As an RBT Behavior Technician (ABA) at UCP of Western Massachusetts, you will play a crucial role in providing applied behavior analysis (ABA) therapy and individualized support to children aged 0-3 who are diagnosed with autism spectrum disorders (ASD) and exhibit challenging behaviors. Your primary objective will be to enhance the children's language, self-help, play, and social skills while also working to reduce their challenging behaviors across various settings. This position requires you to work under the supervision of a Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA), ensuring that you deliver services consistently in homes or community settings throughout south and central Berkshire County. In this role, you will collaborate closely with other Early Intervention (EI) specialists and the families of the children you support. Your collaboration will focus on achieving the goals, objectives, and strategies outlined in each child's behavioral treatment plan. It is essential that you obtain your Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) certification and complete Safety Care training within six months of your hire date to ensure compliance with the standards of practice in this field. This full-time position involves a commitment of 37.5 hours per week, and you will be compensated at a rate of $20 to $24 per hour, depending on your experience and qualifications. Additionally, you will receive a $1,500 sign-on bonus as part of your employment package.
