About The Position

Autism Center of Excellence (AutismCOE) is seeking a committed and experienced Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) to join our Virginia Beach team. This role provides consistent afternoon and early -evening ABA sessions for a single assigned client and may take place in the home or in our clinic, depending on client needs. If you enjoy structured 1:1 work, supporting meaningful progress, and building strong therapeutic relationships, this position offers a stable schedule and a supportive clinical environment.

Requirements

Active RBT certification
Ability to work Monday–Friday, 12:00 PM–7:00 PM
Consistent, reliable transportation within the Virginia Beach area
Ability to pass required background checks
Strong communication, professionalism, and reliability

Nice To Haves

Experience working with school -aged children
Comfortable providing services either in -home or in -clinic
Strong documentation and data -collection skills
Familiarity with trauma -informed or relationship -based approaches

Responsibilities

Provide 1:1 ABA therapy following treatment plans developed by a BCBA
Support skill -building in communication, social interaction, behavior reduction, and daily living
Record session data accurately using electronic tools
Maintain professionalism, ethical boundaries, and confidentiality
Collaborate with your BCBA supervisor on goals, progress, and client needs
Create a safe, supportive, and predictable environment during each session
