This new hire will work in Brand Aromatics, located in Lakewood, NJ. The candidate will report to a Quality Manager II. Requirements

  • Detail Oriented
  • MS Office proficiency
  • Technical and Continual Improvement Process experience
  • Strong attention to detail
  • Excellent problem-solving skills
  • Three years experience in quality control, quality assurance, and/or food manufacturing

Nice To Haves

  • Bachelor's degree preferred but not required

Responsibilities

  • Sample incoming materials for testing/acceptance
  • Sample/resample material for shelf life extensions
  • Perform sensory tests as required to accept raw materials as specified in inspection plans
  • Perform sensory tests as required to extend or discard materials per shelf life extension requests
  • Obtain COA's and label pictures for all incoming materials
  • Enter Quality Notification (QN) for rejected raw materials into the system and identify tasks/activities required
  • Review labels to ensure Kosher, Organic, and other Identity Preserved requirements
  • Responsible for identifying and reporting any food safety and quality concerns
  • Conduct operational audits
  • Other tasks as assigned
