About The Position

The Rare Disease Key Accounts Leader (RKAL) is a critical role that will identify and develop working relationships with key decision makers within the C-Suite of targeted Commercial Accounts including Academic Centers, Group Community Practices, Integrated delivery networks, and other large Customer accounts. Reporting to the franchise marketing head of the Cardiometabolic and Rare Disease Business Unit, this field-based position will serve as a key account contact identifying growth opportunities, collaborating with cross-functional partners, and aligning with brand strategy. Candidates should understand the Customer including the ability to engage with call points effectively and regularly across the account (e.g., Pharmacy, P&T committee members, C-Suite, Department Chairs, and other key stakeholders as appropriate). This requires the ability to demonstrate leadership in working with other members of the Regeneron account team; experience in developing, monitoring and completing account plans; and scientific and clinical proficiency to communicate approved and relevant product and disease information to key institutional decision-makers. You will develop, establish, and actively coordinate the cross-functional implementation of the Key Account Plan to remove both clinical and non-clinical barriers to product adoption. Work across the team to establish Customer Engagement plans and at appropriate times work with key decision-makers to request decisions on product inclusion. The RKAL will provide support for various products within the cardiometabolic and rare disease portfolio including gene therapies and monoclonal antibodies. For gene therapies, you will serve as the main point of contact for assigned accounts to oversee and coordinate the treatment center onboarding and activation process, including but not limited to treatment center evaluation, contracting, staff training, process overviews, project management and ongoing engagement. You will provide approved disease and product information and resources to key decision-makers and stakeholders at the executive and implementation level within key accounts and conduct market profiling activities as well as proactively identify business opportunities with assigned accounts.
