About The Position

IQVIA, in partnership with its customer, is seeking exceptional sales professionals to join the Life Sciences Industry. This role offers an opportunity to contribute to improving the lives of patients impacted by Duchenne Muscular Dystrophy (DMD). The Duchenne Account Manager (DAS) is expected to be results-oriented, self-assured, and possess an engaging manner. The primary objective of this role is to achieve and surpass sales targets by effectively executing marketing strategies and sales plans as directed by the customer and IQVIA leadership. The DAS will be responsible for providing scientific information to healthcare professionals to promote and support the customer's DMD product portfolio. Adherence to all policies governing sales activities is also a key responsibility. Requirements

  • BA/BS Degree from an accredited four-year college or university
  • Minimum 5+ years pharmaceutical and/or biotech sales experience required

Nice To Haves

  • 2+ years Rare Disease and/or gene therapy experience strongly preferred
  • Strong, consistent and documented track record of success
  • DMD experience strongly preferred
  • Ability to navigate various complexities of Rare Disease treatments
  • Experience managing patient enrollment process for rare disease products and working with office staff to help support and simplify process
  • Experience working with a start-up or high growth organization
  • Entrepreneurial spirit, solution-oriented approach to the business
  • Ability to travel overnight and possess a valid driver’s license to drive to assigned healthcare accounts, unless otherwise specified

Responsibilities

  • Achieving and exceeding sales objectives by effectively implementing marketing strategies and sales plans as assigned by our customer & leadership at IQVIA
  • Providing scientific oriented needs to healthcare professionals for the primary purpose of promoting and supporting the DMD product portfolio our customer
  • Maintaining compliance with all policies that govern sales activity

Benefits

  • The potential base pay range for this role is $180-200,000 annually.
