Make a difference with us! A Rapid Response Paramedic is an integral part of the primary care team with patient admission into Virtual Hospital. Providing integrated health services intended to improve the overall health and wellness of the program participants. You are responsible for providing direct patient care, medical transport, performing equipment checks and maintenance, as well as handling station upkeep and housekeeping duties, along with other related tasks as needed.

Requirements

• Three years prior experience as a Paramedic
• High school diploma or GED equivalent required
• Valid driver's license and good driving record
• Current Rapid Response Paramedic certification/license
• Valid driver’s license and good driving record
• Good communication and interpersonal skill

Responsibilities

• Administering basic and advanced life support treatments within the Paramedic scope
• Facilitates with in-home telehealth visits and aid as needed during visits.
• Safely operating and maintaining emergency vehicles in compliance with laws.
• Delivering competent patient care in various settings.
• Applying EMS procedures in practical situations.
• Interacting professionally with healthcare personnel.
• Documenting information accurately in our charting system.
• Assisting fellow EMS providers and providing comprehensive reports.
• Maintaining equipment, ensuring cleanliness, and restocking supplies.
• Adhering to company and local agency policies and protocols.
• Demonstrating a clean appearance and professional, ethical behavior.
• May be required to administer first aid to injured coworkers when necessary.
