About The Position
Adventist Health Clear Lake is actively seeking an experienced Advanced Practice Provider (Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant) to join our Rapid Care clinic located in the scenic Lake County, California. This clinic operates extended hours and is part of our Rural Health clinic network. The selected candidate will collaborate with an experienced clinician to deliver comprehensive services aimed at promoting optimal health, as well as preventing and treating various health conditions. In this role, the Advanced Practice Provider will be responsible for a range of advanced clinical duties, which include conducting thorough physical examinations, administering prescribed medications, and providing patient education and coaching tailored to individual needs. The ideal candidate should be comfortable working with a diverse patient population and possess the ability to manage various health issues effectively. While this is primarily a full-time position, we are open to considering candidates who may be available on a part-time basis or those who are newly trained. To qualify for this position, candidates must hold an active California license, as well as Basic Life Support (BLS) and DEA certifications. A graduate degree from an accredited school of Physician Assistants is required, and a Bachelor's degree is preferred. Additionally, candidates should have at least two years of experience in primary care or a related field, along with board certification. This position offers a competitive salary range of $130,270 to $170,000 per year, with total compensation potentially varying based on additional services and productivity after an initial guarantee period.
