In this role, you will oversee daily operations of the Behavioral Crisis Center, supervise staff, support crisis stabilization efforts, ensure safety procedures are followed, and maintain documentation and compliance requirements. Requirements

  • High School Diploma or GED required
  • Experience in Human Services or a related field required
  • Must be at least 21 years of age
  • Current driver’s license, acceptable driving record, and current auto insurance
  • Successful completion of background checks: criminal record, driving record, abuse/neglect, and fingerprinting
  • Ability to communicate clearly and effectively both verbally and in writing
  • Ability to handle crisis situations and interact with individuals experiencing behavioral health challenges
  • Must attain and maintain all training requirements as outlined by the organization
  • Sedentary work involving up to 10 pounds of force occasionally
  • Involves sitting most of the time, with occasional walking or standing
  • Requires repetitive hand, finger, and arm movements for typing or writing

Nice To Haves

  • Bachelor’s degree in Human Services or a related field preferred

Responsibilities

  • Serve as a supportive leader who ensures a safe, stable, and welcoming environment for clients in crisis
  • Provide guidance, coaching, and direct supervision to assigned staff to support professional growth and excellence in service delivery
  • Oversee daily operations of the Behavioral Crisis Center, ensuring effective workflows and smooth functioning of the program
  • Review, monitor, and ensure timely and accurate completion of documentation, logs, reports, and electronic records
  • Actively participate in the treatment team to support crisis stabilization and model safe and effective interactions
  • Oversee scheduling, shift coverage, staffing needs, evaluations, interviews, onboarding coordination, and corrective actions as needed
  • Conduct building inspections, oversee safety processes, and assist staff and clients during heightened‑risk situations
  • Manage end‑of‑shift responsibilities and ensure staff are meeting program expectations
  • Coordinate facility cleanliness, maintenance needs, inspections, and required drills
  • Maintain records for maintenance logs, equipment, and facility operations
  • Provide phone support, transfer calls, and ensure communication flows smoothly within the team
  • Review incident reports for accuracy and ensure injuries are reported within required timeframes
  • Participate in required training hours and professional development
  • Accept and apply constructive feedback to support ongoing improvement
  • Perform additional duties as assigned by leadership
