The Range Training Area Management Support Subject Matter Expert (SME) at Lucayan Technology will provide essential support to the Range Training Area Management within TECOM. This role focuses on property accountability and life-cycle management for live training systems and simulators, ensuring optimal utilization of resources for the Fleet Marine Force and Supporting Establishment. The SME will assist in planning, sustainment support, and the preparation of various reports and documentation related to training systems and operations.

  • Assist in the preparation of information briefings and decision documentation related to range and training area live training systems.
  • Support the preparation of reports, presentations, and charts for DOTMLPF requirements analysis.
  • Conduct quarterly inspections of live training systems and provide inspection reports.
  • Develop monthly trend analysis reports for live fire ranges, capturing utilization trends.
  • Analyze live range utilization data and correlate it to maintenance and sustainability requirements.
  • Assist in property accountability and life-cycle management for Ground and Virtual Training Systems assets.
  • Prepare documentation for new gear and disposal, and attend Government Acceptance Tests.
  • Prepare briefings and documentation for the USMC Defense Property Accountability System and Global Combat Support System.
  • High school diploma or equivalent required; Bachelor's degree preferred.
  • Experience as a USMC Staff Non-Commissioned Officer (SNCO) or above preferred.
  • Marine Corps operations/training experience is required.
  • Working knowledge of Range Facility Management Support System (RFMSS) is necessary.
  • Expert-level knowledge of Microsoft Office applications and Adobe software.
  • Familiarity with DPAS and GCSS-MC systems.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Creativity and ability to work under operating and deadline constraints.
  • Company vehicle provided for daily travel in the local area.
