About The Position

The Range Sustainment Worker I position at PD Systems LLC involves performing a variety of unskilled and semi-skilled maintenance and repair tasks related to the sustainment and operations of live fire ranges. The role requires practical skills in various trades, including painting, carpentry, plumbing, masonry, electrical work, and grounds maintenance, to ensure the functionality and safety of range facilities.

Requirements

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in Range Sustainment Work.
• Valid state-issued driver's license required.
• Experience operating mowers (regular and zero turn) under 2000 pounds and weed eaters.
• Ability to lift 40 pounds in a single lift.
• Ability to walk long distances to clear vegetation for land navigation points.
• Must be a U.S. Citizen and able to speak, read, write, and understand English.

Responsibilities

• Perform grounds maintenance including cutting grass and maintaining berms and firing points.
• Operate work-related vehicles and equipment such as gasoline or diesel-powered mowers and tow trailers.
• Perform general maintenance on equipment and machinery.
