About The Position
The position involves implementing range operations functions related to the safe and efficient utilization of the range complex, particularly in the use of high-risk weapons, ammunition, and other hazardous materials across multiple ranges and training sites. Responsibilities include monitoring all firing and range activities to impose limitations on ranges and training areas, considering proximity and compatibility of programs, and conducting both planned and unscheduled inspections of firing programs and range complex operations.
