About The Position

As a seasonal Ranch Technician I, your primary duties will be centered around summer duties of fencing and irrigating on the ranch. You will help with fence repairs and construction across the ranch and may be responsible for irrigation duties, including twice daily wheel line sets. Seasonal housing and utilities are available for this position if desired. The anticipated season for this position is mid-May through August, but there is some flexibility in the schedule.

Requirements

This position requires operation of vehicles, and you’ll need to possess a valid driver’s license or be able to obtain one within 30 days of employment. Your driving record will need to meet the standards and requirements of the Company and the Company’s insurance provider
You’ll need to present documentation establishing both identity and employment authorization within three days of hire pursuant to federal law

Nice To Haves

Experience operating ATVs/UTVs
Experience with fencing
Experience with irrigation
A high school diploma or general education degree (GED)

Responsibilities

Repair, maintenance and construction of various types of fences and corrals.
Operation and maintenance of irrigation systems, including center pivots, wheel lines, pumps and motors.
Assisting in herding and handling bison on pasture and in corrals.
Working on habitat conservation projects such as riparian restoration and juniper mulching.
General maintenance and housekeeping of ranch vehicles, equipment and buildings.
All other duties as assigned.
