About The Position

As a SkyWest Ramp Supervisor, you will be given the opportunity to lead by example, set a positive work atmosphere for your department, and promote our guiding principles. This position will be core, or year round. Work closely with other supervisors to maintain a consistent standard and environment for our employees Develop, supervise, and oversee ramp agents Provide direction, guidance, and positive motivation for all station personnel Ensure compliance with all SkyWest operating standards and procedures Constantly promote teamwork to achieve station goals Attend company training classes Conduct briefings and meetings with station personnel

Requirements

  • 18 years of age or older
  • Possess a valid, unrestricted state-issued driver’s license
  • Have a High School Diploma or GED
  • Position-specific clearances include, but are not limited to, FAA, TSA, Port Authority, U.S. Customs clearances required
  • Pass a pre-placement background check and drug screen
  • Legally authorized to work in the United States for any employer without sponsorship
  • Excellent communication and organizational skills
  • Strong people and employee-relation skills
  • Self-motivated and goal-oriented
  • Work under pressure
  • Lift heavy bags in excess of 60+ pounds, with or without reasonable accommodation
  • Work outdoors in all temperatures and weather conditions
  • Be in good standing with the company
  • Thorough understanding of ramp procedures
  • Required knowledge and understanding of SkyWest Airlines’ policies and procedures
  • Familiar with partner dedicated computer system
