Requirements
- Board of Pharmacy State License required
- Must undergo and pass a drug test (as this is a safety-sensitive position)
- Permanent residency in California or Nevada is a condition of employment for this position
- No disciplinary action during the past 6 months (for current Raley's Employees)
Responsibilities
- Assist customers
- Answer phones and operating the cash register in the Pharmacy
- Operate the computer to input data, look up refills, and check retail prices of prescription drugs
- Call doctors' offices for authorization to refill prescriptions
- Receive orders from patients and typing pharmacy labels
- Check in merchandise and stocking shelves
- Conduct general housekeeping duties when needed
- Assist the pharmacist with filling prescriptions and pulling prescription merchandise from shelves
