About The Position

The Rainbow Bridge Facilitator at the Rape and Abuse Crisis Center is responsible for ensuring a safe and neutral environment for families during exchanges and supervised visitations. This part-time role involves providing support and supervision, participating in agency meetings, and maintaining accurate documentation of program activities. The position is ideal for students and offers flexible scheduling during weekdays and weekends.

Requirements

• Possess or be pursuing a Human Service or related degree.
• Valid Driver's license and current vehicle insurance.
• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Excellent interpersonal skills.
• Self-motivated and organized, able to manage multiple tasks.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications.
• Experience working with children and families in crisis.
• Demonstrated understanding of diverse backgrounds and cultures.
• Demonstrated knowledge of issues relating to children, parents, and families.

Responsibilities

• Provide support and supervision during exchanges and supervised visitation.
• Contact parents regarding schedule changes.
• Monitor supervised visitations and safe exchanges.
• Maintain accurate documentation of all program activities including scheduling, visitations, family contacts/information, and demographic data.
• Participate in agency meetings to ensure open communication and provide required program information to other departments within the agency.
• Clean and organize visitation rooms.
• Compile and submit required reports and data to Supervisor.
• Attend team and agency meetings important for effective department operations.
• Assist with billing and parent payments.
