About The Position
Join the team of the Napa Valley Wine Train, a historically luxurious and iconic experience in Napa's Wine Country for over 30 years. As a Railroad Dispatcher, you will be part of this iconic history, directing, monitoring, and controlling train traffic and track maintenance within an assigned territory to ensure safe and efficient movement. This role involves issuing operational authorities, managing switches, and coordinating with crew members, offering a dynamic and engaging experience within the Napa Valley Wine Train's array of adventures.
Requirements
- Leadership skills to direct train movement to On Track Equipment and Trains and direct rail traffic safely and efficiently
- Speaking skills to speak clearly so other railroad employees and outside agencies understand what they are saying
- Must pass a Standard FRA Drug and Alcohol test
- Will be subject to random drug and alcohol testing
