You gear up and join a high-energy team focused on final assembly of world-class passenger coaches and locomotives. You move from station to station bringing a railcar to life—aligning panels, installing components, routing harnesses—each action adding precision and pride.

Requirements

  • High school diploma or state-recognized GED; or a comparable blend of education and hands-on experience in environments like manufacturing, electrical panel assembly, construction, automotive, or electrical service.
  • Basic written and verbal English communication skills.
  • Applicants must be legally authorized for employment in the United States without needing current or future employer-sponsored work authorization.

Nice To Haves

  • Familiarity with reading blueprints, diagrams, and part lists is a plus.
  • We expect solid mechanical assembly skills.

Responsibilities

  • Assemble major coach units including roofs, cable harnesses, mounted parts, electrical racks and panels, air supply racks, and piping assemblies.
  • Bond and align floor panels; set windows and door assemblies with accuracy.
  • Install insulation, sidewall panels, seating, and luggage racks to specification.
  • Route and terminate electrical wiring harnesses to final endpoints and subassemblies.
  • Disassemble, modify, rework, refurbish, and reassemble parts as needed to meet standards.
  • Work from production blueprints, wiring diagrams, parts and wire lists, sketches, and verbal instructions to create electrical or electro-mechanical subassemblies.
  • Use fine motor skills for small-part assembly requiring excellent dexterity.
