Role snapshot Hands-on electro-mechanical assembly of electrical control racks, wire harnesses, panels, and sub-assemblies for world-class rail vehicles. High-energy, team-based production environment at our Lexington, NC facility. Schedule Shift: Monday–Thursday, 5:30 a.m.–4:00 p.m.

Requirements

High school diploma/GED or equivalent blend of education and experience (manufacturing or similar environment).
Experience in electrical panel assembly, construction, automotive, or electrical service.
Electro-mechanical assembly experience.
Basic English communication (written and verbal).

Nice To Haves

Ability to read blueprints/diagrams and parts lists is a plus.

Responsibilities

Build and integrate coach components: roofs, harnesses, mounted parts, electrical racks, panels, air-supply racks, and piping assemblies.
Wire and terminate to components, connectors, terminals, and contact points.
Cut to length; route, twist, wrap, tie, and secure conductors to terminal points.
Disassemble, modify, rework, refurbish, and reassemble assemblies as needed.
Use production blueprints, wiring diagrams, parts/wire lists, sketches, and verbal work instructions to produce electrical or electro-mechanical sub-assemblies.
Apply excellent dexterity and fine motor skills when working with small parts.
