About The Position

Join us in our state-of-the-art train manufacturing facility in Lexington, NC, where Siemens Mobility advances passenger rail systems. As a Rail Systems Electro-Mechanical Technician, you will be integral to the assembly and installation of electrical and mechanical components in a bustling production environment, creating electrical systems for world-class rail systems.

Requirements

High school diploma or GED, or equivalent experience in a manufacturing setting.
Familiarity with electrical panel assembly, construction, or automotive fields.
Experience in electro-mechanical assembly operations.
Basic command of English written and verbal skills.
Competence in reading technical blueprints and diagrams.
Electrical Schematic Literacy
Skills in Mechanical Assembly Processes

Responsibilities

Assemble parts for passenger coaches, such as roofs, cable harnesses, and panel systems.
Connect components using wiring to complete electrical systems.
Tailor wire lengths according to specifications and secure appropriately.
Perform component modifications, refurbishments, and reassembly.
Follow technical instructions and utilize diagrams for precise assembly tasks.
Utilize fine motor skills for detailed assembly work with high precision.
