We are seeking a Product Engineer who will play a key role in shaping the next generation of our rail inspection and analytics solutions. In this role, you will collaborate with cross functional teams to enhance the data pipelines, algorithms, and software quality that power our products, ensuring that rail clients receive accurate, reliable, and actionable insights. Your work will directly support data driven decision making that keeps rail networks operating smoothly, reduces costs, and strengthens safety across the industry. You will work closely with global rail customers, helping them solve complex operational challenges through innovative technology. This position offers exposure to diverse rail systems, hands on experience with safety critical environments, and the opportunity to develop deep expertise in data driven maintenance planning and asset management.

  • Collaborate with product managers, software engineers, and rail operations experts to define requirements for decision support software that prevents safety incidents and optimizes maintenance planning
  • Support the product lifecycle by gathering client feedback, validating requirements, and ensuring alignment with customer expectations and product roadmaps
  • Design, test, and refine software solutions that process large scale railway inspection data for reliability, accuracy, and usability
  • Validate and improve data quality through cleaning, verification, and data transformation processes that support automated decision making
  • Support product releases through testing, quality assurance, and coordination with stakeholders to ensure readiness for deployment in operational rail environments
  • Assist in technical support and troubleshooting, coordinating with engineering teams to resolve issues and maintain strong client communication
  • Deliver product demonstrations, training sessions, and best practice workshops to drive customer adoption
  • Analyze system performance and customer feedback to identify enhancements, prioritize features, and support continuous product improvement
  • Provide subject matter expertise on how software outputs support rail maintenance planning, risk assessment, and regulatory reporting
  • Contribute to cross functional initiatives aimed at improving railway safety, operational efficiency, and asset lifecycle management
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field
  • 3 years of experience in product engineering, operations, or product management
  • Prior experience working in a rail environment required
  • Knowledge of software development phases including design, coding, testing, debugging, implementation, and support
  • Understanding of data analysis and dataset manipulation using Python or MATLAB
  • Familiarity with relational databases such as PostGRES, MySQL, or SQL Server
  • Knowledge of GIS tools and geospatial data handling including ESRI ArcGIS, QGIS, or similar platforms
  • Experience with Waterfall and Agile SDLC methodologies
  • Strong analytical and product management skills with the ability to translate customer business needs into application and operational requirements
  • Excellent organizational, written, and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to manage multiple projects with minimal supervision
  • Familiarity with Microsoft Visio, Microsoft Excel, and Microsoft Word
  • Master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field
  • Testing and Quality Assurance experience
  • Experience cleaning and preparing datasets for data driven projects
  • Knowledge of linear asset management systems and concepts
  • Working knowledge of web based programming languages and tools
  • Familiarity with JIRA Software
