About The Position

Heidelberg Materials is one of the world's largest suppliers of building materials. Heidelberg Materials North America operates over 450 locations across the U.S. and Canada with approximately 9,000 employees. What You'll Be Doing Monitor, coordinate, and reconcile inbound/outbound rail schedules, and enter billing in SAP. Serve as primary liaison between HM Logistics, Union Pacific, internal/external customers, and third-party vendors. Reconcile vendor invoices, schedule railcar cleaning, and maintain rail-related administrative records. Provide on-call support and cross-train in scale house operations and truck automation procedures. Coordinate logistics for special events, handle non-PO package shipments, enter purchase requisitions, and serve as a back-up for the plant clerical staff. Engage in plant safety walkthroughs and inspections to ensure compliance and promote a safe work environment.

Requirements

  • Strong organizational and record-keeping skills
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and other relevant software
  • Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks

Nice To Haves

  • Rail industry knowledge is a plus
  • Bilingual in English and Spanish is highly desirable
