About The Position
The Radon Mitigation Technician installs and services radon mitigation systems to ensure properties meet safety standards. This role requires hands-on technical work, attention to detail, and a commitment to health and safety.
Requirements
- Mechanical, construction, or HVAC experience preferred
- Radon mitigation license or willingness to obtain one
- Ability to work in crawlspaces, attics, and confined spaces
- Strong problem-solving and technical skills
- Valid driver's license with a clean driving record
- Ability to lift up to 75 lbs and perform physical labor
Responsibilities
- Install radon mitigation systems according to industry and regulatory standards
- Perform diagnostic testing and system evaluations
- Seal foundation penetrations and ensure proper airflow
- Maintain tools, equipment, and vehicles
- Explain system operation and maintenance to clients
- Document completed work and service reports accurately
- Follow all safety protocols and building codes
