Performs and/or assists with various types of radiologic procedures, following protocols established by the radiologists. Prepares, maintains and operates radiographic equipment in a safe and responsible manner. Follows appropriate radiation safety guidelines. Produces quality radiographs for interpretation by a radiologist.
Requirements
- High School Diploma or Equivalent Required
- Graduate from a two-year AMA approved radiologic technology program. Required
- 1 year experience in radiology Required
Nice To Haves
- Reg Technologist (R) Preferred
- Basic Life Support Preferred
Responsibilities
- Performs and/or assists with various types of radiologic procedures, following protocols established by the radiologists.
- Prepares, maintains and operates radiographic equipment in a safe and responsible manner.
- Follows appropriate radiation safety guidelines.
