About The Position
Ultrasound Technologists use imaging equipment that noninvasively emits sound waves directed towards internal organs, blood vessels, tissues and other structures. Responsibilities: Operate radiologic equipment to produce images of the body for diagnostic purposes. Provide high quality patient care while being part of a dynamic health care team.
Requirements
- High School graduate.
- Two years of training in a School of Radiologic Technology in a hospital based certificate program or a degree in college.
- Must be registered by the American Registry Radiologic Technology and/or Licensed by the LA State Board of Radiologic Technology.
- Must be willing to cross train in ultrasound.
Responsibilities
- Operate radiologic equipment to produce images of the body for diagnostic purposes.
- Provide high quality patient care while being part of a dynamic health care team.
