Requirements
- ARRT-R and license as required by State or Registered Cardiovascular Invasive Specialist (RCIS) required.
- Previous experience in a Cardiovascular Lab required.
- BCLS (AHA) required upon hire.
- Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) required
Responsibilities
- Assist Cardiologists or Radiologists with invasive and noninvasive cardiovascular procedures.
- Monitor physiologic and hemodynamic data, scrub procedures, and ensure procedure rooms are fully prepared and supplied.
- Participate in staff training, departmental meetings, and performance improvement activities.
- Assist physicians during cardiovascular diagnostic and therapeutic procedures.
- Scrub procedures and monitor physiologic and hemodynamic data.
- Prepare and maintain procedure rooms; manage instrument and supply levels.
- Support invasive and noninvasive cardiac procedures.
- Participate in staff training, meetings, and quality improvement initiatives.
