About The Position

Operates equipment in the production of radiographic images in accordance with department protocols. Administers radiopaque
material for enhance examinations under the supervision of a radiologist. Promotes a safe environment by using protective devices and practices. The technologist must be attentive to patient needs during examinations and take appropriate action if necessary. Independent problem solving in the performance of duties with limited supervision.

Requirements

• Graduate of an AMA approved radiological technologist program
• Registered by the American Registry of Radiologic Technologist (ARRT)
• Current Basic Life Support (AHA or American Red Cross BLS) certification
• Licensed by the Illinois Emergency Management Agency (IEMA)
