About The Position
The radiologic technologist is responsible for performing radiographic examinations on Inpatient (IP), Outpatient (OP), and Emergency Critical Care (ECC) patients, adhering to radiologist-approved protocols. This role also involves obtaining and communicating accurate and thorough patient medical history relevant to the examinations. Additionally, the technologist will perform other duties as needed to support the organization and as directed by their supervisor.
Requirements
- Registered Radiologic Technologist by the ARRT or registry eligible
- SCRQSA Certification required
- Must meet continuing education requirements
- Current CPR certification required
Responsibilities
- Performs radiographic examinations on IP, OP, and ECC patients
- Performs exams per radiologist approved protocols
- Responsible for obtaining and communicating accurate and thorough patient medical history as it relates to the exam being performed
- Performs other duties in addition to meet the needs of the organization and as deemed necessary by their supervisor
