About The Position
Radiology Technologist at Providence Little Company of Mary Torrance in Torrance, CA. This position is Per Diem and will work 80-hour, Variable shifts. Under general direction performs a variety of radiographic procedures at a skilled technical level requiring the ability to apply prescribed ionizing radiation for diagnosis. Performs related work as required. Is assigned to perform some special procedures, which require the use of complex equipment (i.e., CT, MRI, Ultrasound). Requirements
- Associate's Degree Radiological Technology Or Equivalent in approved A.M.A. program.
- California Radiologic Technologist
- National Certification from American Registry of Radiologic Technologists
- National Provider BLS - American Heart Association
Responsibilities
- Performs a variety of radiographic procedures at a skilled technical level requiring the ability to apply prescribed ionizing radiation for diagnosis.
- Performs related work as required.
- Is assigned to perform some special procedures, which require the use of complex equipment (i.e., CT, MRI, Ultrasound).
- Occasionally directs and supervises quality control in the department.
