Job Description Summary: $15,000 SIGN ON BONUS External applicants may be eligible for a $15,000 sign-on bonus with a one-year work commitment. Previously employed applicants who have been gone from the organization more than 90 days may also be eligible. This position is full time, located at our urgent care Dublin location. The hours for this position is 9:00am-9:00pm with every other weekend rotation. No on-call requirement and shift differential eligibility for entire shift. This position prepares patients for examinations and performs diagnostic radiology procedures following guidelines set by OhioHealth and the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT).

Requirements

  • Associate's Degree (Required)
  • AART-ODH - American Registry of Radiologic Technology - American Association of Radiologic Technologists
  • BLS - Basic Life Support - American Heart Association
  • Graduate of an approved accredited radiography program.
  • Registered with the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists; ODH Ohio Radiologic License.
  • BLS Certification .
  • Thorough knowledge of various medical imaging procedures and equipment including proper technique and positioning, handling and administering ionizing radiation to include contrast media agents, radiographic anatomy and physiology, and medical terminology.
  • Expresses superior customer service skills.
  • Pleasant demeanor, neat, poised appearance.
  • Ability to function as team member, with limited supervision.
  • Highly motivated with effective written and verbal communication and effective organizational skills.

Responsibilities

  • Performs Diagnostic procedures.
  • Obtains diagnostic radiographs
  • Prepares patients for examination
  • Performs miscellaneous related duties
