About The Position

NEEDED: Radiology Technologist - Ultrasound Services LOCATION: 100 U.S. Hwy 40 and 4th Street Greenville, Illinois 62246 SCHEDULE: Mutually agreed upon schedule for eight (8) hours per month. HOURS OF OPERATION: 7:30 AM – 4:00 PM, Monday – Friday, excluding holidays. QUALIFICATIONS: Shall have current certification from an accredited radiology school that permits you to practice and to perform general ultrasound, vascular ultrasound and echocardiography in the United States. The technologist shall be familiar with managing and supervising a hospital-based ultrasound services department regarding FDA, OSHA and JCAHO standards. Must be Cardio-Pulmonary Resuscitation (CPR) certified in accordance with the American Heart Association. Have one year of experience. Shall provide written documents of certification (copy of all diplomas and/or certificates) that permit them to perform the services. JOB DUTIES: General ultrasound, vascular ultrasound, echocardiogram ultrasound services. Interpretation shall be conducted and performed by a board-certified radiologist and/or board-certified cardiologist, whichever is appropriate. Interpretation shall be a typed report and faxed/emailed to FCI Greenville Health Services Department within one week of completion. Abnormal results/interpretations shall be verbally communicated to the Clinical Director upon receipt. Each patient encounter will be documented using an official consultation authorization form. Will complete and estimated 480 general ultrasounds per year, 60 vascular ultrasounds per year and 36 echocardiograms per year. BENEFITS: Competitive hourly pay rate

Requirements
