Requirements

  • FULLY LICENSED RAD TECH REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:
  • Education:
  • Completion of a formal Radiography program with associated certificate or degree
  • License/Certifications:
  • Licensed with IEMA
  • American Heart Assosciation (BLS for Health Care Providers) completed within 2 weeks of hire.
  • ARRt (R) registry eligible.
  • Must complete ARRT registry within 6 months of hire
  • Other requirements/information:
  • May be required to float between clinics as needed.
  • Other skills/knowledge:
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Solid computer skills, including proficiency with Microsoft software.
  • LIMITED LICENSE RAD TECH REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:
  • Education:
  • High School Diploma/ GED
  • Experience:
  • 1 year healthcare experience
  • License/ Certification:
  • Limited scope testing certification provided by ARRT
  • American Heart Association (BLS for Health Care Providers)
  • Other Skills/ Knowledge:
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Solid computer skills, including proficiency with Microsoft software.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to be detail oriented.
  • May be required to float between clinics as needed.

Nice To Haves

  • Other skills/knowledge:
  • Previous experience as a medical office assistant or CNA or equivalent, previous experience with an electronic health record and phlebotomy.
  • Knowledge of urgent care medical specialty.
  • Knowledge of medical terminology.
  • Knowledge of Epic.
  • Exceptional customer service and phone etiquette.
  • Knowledge and integration of available standards, resources, and data; discretion, good judgment; diplomacy; decision making; and a customer service attitude.
  • Licensure/Certifications:
  • Current certification as a radiology technician with The American Registry of Radiologic Technologists.
  • Current American Heart Association (BLS for Health Care Providers)
  • Experience:
  • Previous experience as a medical office assistant or CNA or equivalent, previous experience with an electronic health record.
  • Knowledge of urgent care medical specialty. Knowledge of medical terminology.
  • Knowledge of Epic.
  • Exceptional customer service and phone etiquette.
  • Knowledge and integration of available standards, resources, and data; discretion, good judgement, diplomacy, decision making, and a customer service attitude.
  • Licensure/ Certification:
  • Completion of limited scope test provided by ARRT
