At Johns Hopkins All Children’s Hospital Outpatient Care – Tampa OCC, our caring professionals have years of experience in meeting the medical and rehabilitative needs of children of all ages, from infants through teens. Position Summary: As Radiology Technologist , you will: complete xrays as well as function in some medical assistant activities between patients. This could include: Vital signs Collecting data on Allergies, Medications and NPO status Screen patients for metal Point of Care – urine pregnancy and creatinine Being regulatory ready – perform environment of care sweeps Help manage supplies -Produces and evaluates radiological images to assist the radiologist with timely interpretation of these images for the treatment of patients -Adheres to image specific policies related to quality and safety established by Johns Hopkins All Children's Hospital and regulatory and accreditation governing bodies -Demonstrates analytical skills required for determining technical factors for proper exposure levels -Practical knowledge of various DR fixed and portable imaging equipment as well as computer skills including PACS and RIS. -Performs patient care task under direction of RN as competency designates

Requirements

  • Satisfactory completion of Radiography program from an AMA accredited Radiography program
  • Florida State Radiography License
  • ARRT registered
  • Current Basic Life Support, AHA
  • Looking for an experienced rad tech, as this person is the only rad tech on site.
