Position Summary: As Radiology Technologist , you will: complete xrays as well as function in some medical assistant activities between patients. This could include: Vital signs Collecting data on Allergies, Medications and NPO status Screen patients for metal Point of Care – urine pregnancy and creatinine Being regulatory ready – perform environment of care sweeps Help manage supplies -Produces and evaluates radiological images to assist the radiologist with timely interpretation of these images for the treatment of patients -Adheres to image specific policies related to quality and safety established by Johns Hopkins All Children's Hospital and regulatory and accreditation governing bodies -Demonstrates analytical skills required for determining technical factors for proper exposure levels -Practical knowledge of various DR fixed and portable imaging equipment as well as computer skills including PACS and RIS. -Performs patient care task under direction of RN as competency designates

Requirements

Satisfactory completion of Radiography program from an AMA accredited Radiography program
Florida State Radiography License
ARRT registered
Current Basic Life Support, AHA
Looking for an experienced rad tech, as this person is the only rad tech on site.
