About The Position

A hospital is seeking a skilled Radiology Technologist to join the diagnostic imaging team on a night shift assignment. The technologist will perform high-quality diagnostic imaging procedures while ensuring patient safety and compliance with regulatory standards.

Requirements

• Active Radiologic Technologist license in good standing
• ARRT certification (required)
• Minimum 1–2 years of recent acute-care experience preferred
• Ability to work independently during night shifts
• Strong knowledge of radiology equipment and imaging protocols
• Excellent communication and patient-care skills

Responsibilities

• Perform diagnostic radiographic imaging procedures as ordered by physicians
• Position patients accurately and operate imaging equipment safely
• Ensure radiation safety standards and ALARA principles are followed
• Review images for quality and completeness before submission
• Maintain accurate patient records and documentation
• Communicate effectively with radiologists, physicians, nurses, and support staff
• Provide compassionate patient care and clear procedural explanations
• Participate in on-call rotation as scheduled
