About The Position

A leading healthcare facility in Aventura, Florida is seeking a skilled Radiology Technologist to join its imaging department. The Radiology Technologist will perform diagnostic imaging procedures while ensuring patient safety, comfort, and high-quality imaging standards. This role requires technical expertise, attention to detail, and the ability to work collaboratively with radiologists, physicians, and clinical staff in a fast-paced healthcare environment.

Requirements

• Active ARRT (American Registry of Radiologic Technologists) certification.
• Current Florida state Radiologic Technologist license.
• Graduate of an accredited Radiologic Technology program.
• Current BLS certification (if required by facility).
• Strong knowledge of radiographic procedures and radiation safety standards.
• Excellent communication and patient care skills.

Nice To Haves

• Prior hospital-based imaging experience.
• Experience with digital radiography and PACS systems.
• Ability to work flexible shifts if needed.

Responsibilities

• Perform diagnostic radiographic procedures in accordance with physician orders and departmental protocols.
• Position patients accurately to obtain high-quality diagnostic images.
• Operate and maintain radiologic equipment safely and effectively.
• Ensure compliance with radiation safety standards and infection control guidelines.
• Verify patient identity and review imaging requests for accuracy.
• Assist radiologists and physicians during procedures as needed.
• Maintain accurate documentation and patient records in the electronic medical system.
• Provide compassionate patient care and clear instructions before, during, and after procedures.
