Radiology Technologist - PER DIEM
About The Position
Join our Radiology team at Cottage Hospital as a Per Diem Radiologic Technologist , supporting our department on an as-needed basis. This is an excellent opportunity for a flexible, team-oriented technologist who enjoys variety in their work, values high-quality patient care, and is comfortable stepping in to support the needs of the department. In this role, you will perform a range of diagnostic imaging procedures, primarily in X-ray , with the opportunity to support additional modalities based on experience and department needs. CT experience is strongly preferred , though we welcome technologists with a solid X-ray background who are eager to expand their skill set and contribute across multiple areas. You will be responsible for safely operating imaging equipment, ensuring high-quality diagnostic images, and providing a positive, supportive experience for patients throughout their visit. This includes preparing patients for procedures, explaining exams clearly, and maintaining a calm, reassuring presence—especially in a small community hospital setting where patient relationships matter. This position requires close collaboration with radiologists, providers, nurses, and fellow hospital staff , as well as regular interaction with patients and their families. You may also coordinate with other departments and outside providers to support timely and accurate imaging services.
