About The Position
Baptist Health is currently looking to add a Radiology Technologist to our Imaging Department at Baptist ED North in Jacksonville, FL. This is a PRN, various shifts opportunity. ED experience preferred. May be required to participate in call and holiday coverage. As a Radiology Technologist, your day will consist of prepping rooms and positioning patients to capturing clear diagnostic images that guide clinical decisions. You'll collaborate closely with nurses and physicians, operate advanced imaging equipment, and ensure every patient receives safe, accurate, and compassionate care. Requirements
- Basic Life Support (BLS) Required
- Registered Technologist in Radiography ARRT (R) Required Or
- Registered Technologist in Cardiac-Interventional Radiography ARRT (CI) Required Or
- Registered Cardiovascular Invasive Specialist (RCIS) Required Or
- Licensed Radiologic Technologist Required Or
Nice To Haves
- Customer Service Experience
- Radiology/Imaging Experience
- Experience working in a hospital setting
Responsibilities
- Performing high-quality radiographic procedures.
- Promoting goodwill amongst co-workers and with other departments, and has a positive, comforting demeanor with all patients.
- Reporting to the Lead Technologist on shift.
- Is compliant with mandatory education and health requirements.
- Comfortable with Pediatrics
- Identifying, preparing, administering, and documenting medications as prescribed by a licensed practitioner following state and federal regulations or Lawful institutional policy.
