About The Position
The position involves operating radiographic equipment to obtain ordered radiographs in accordance with department routines and procedures. The technologist will position patients, adjust equipment for proper exposure settings, complete exams in the electronic medical record, and verify images in the PACS system. Responsibilities include performing diagnostic imaging services in Computed Tomography, ensuring the safe operation of various equipment to produce diagnostic images, interviewing patients, explaining procedures, and assisting in patient positioning. The technologist will also review test results with radiologists and referring physicians.
