About The Position
We are seeking a Radiology Technologist to join a busy acute care imaging department in Aventura, Florida . This role is open to experienced technologists and new graduates who have passed the ARRT boards . The Radiology Technologist plays a key role in delivering timely, high-quality diagnostic imaging while ensuring patient safety, comfort, and compliance with imaging protocols.
Requirements
- High School Diploma or GED
- Registered Radiologic Technologist (ARRT) – Required
- State of Florida Radiologic Technologist license
- BLS (Basic Life Support) certification (AHA) within 30 days of hire
Responsibilities
- Perform diagnostic radiographic procedures in accordance with physician orders and imaging protocols
- Ensure patient safety, positioning accuracy, and radiation protection standards
- Prepare patients for imaging exams and explain procedures clearly and professionally
- Maintain accurate documentation and image records in the imaging system
- Collaborate with radiologists, nursing staff, and clinical teams to support patient care
- Maintain equipment readiness and adhere to quality control standards
- Serve as a professional, patient-facing representative of the imaging department
