About The Position
"Navitas Healthcare, LLC" is seeking a skilled Radiology Technologist (Rad Tech) to perform diagnostic imaging procedures in a fast-paced hospital environment. This role is responsible for producing high-quality radiographic images while ensuring patient safety, comfort, and compliance with radiation protection standards.
Requirements
- Active Radiologic Technologist license (Massachusetts required)
- ARRT certification required
- BLS certification (AHA) required
- Minimum 1 year of recent Radiology Tech experience in a hospital or clinical setting
- Strong knowledge of radiographic procedures, positioning, and radiation safety
- Experience with PACS and EMR systems
- Excellent communication, organizational, and patient care skills
Responsibilities
- Perform diagnostic imaging procedures, including X-rays and other radiographic exams as ordered by physicians
- Prepare and position patients to ensure accurate imaging and patient comfort
- Operate radiologic equipment safely to produce high-quality diagnostic images
- Review images for clarity and accuracy before submission to radiologists
- Adhere to radiation safety standards to minimize exposure
- Accurately document procedures and patient information in EMR systems
- Collaborate with physicians and healthcare teams to support efficient patient care
- Monitor patient condition during procedures and respond to any adverse reactions
- Ensure proper maintenance of imaging equipment and report issues promptly
- Follow infection control and hospital safety protocols
