About The Position

Lead Radiology Technologist Team Leadership & Operations Management Oversee scheduling operations including timecard management, time-off approvals, shift assignments, and conducting annual performance evaluations for radiology staff across multiple locations Serve as primary coverage coordinator, ensuring adequate staffing at all clinic sites through strategic shift planning and emergency coverage facilitation Maintain flexible availability Monday-Friday 8:00 AM - 8:00 PM and Saturdays 9:00 AM - 6:00 PM to provide coverage support and operational oversight Radiation Safety & Compliance Manage comprehensive radiation badge program through Performance Medical, including ordering, tracking, canceling, and coordinating badge exchanges for all personnel Maintain detailed X-ray procedure logs for all locations using Excel-based tracking systems to ensure regulatory compliance Equipment & Vendor Relations Coordinate procurement and inventory management of X-ray supplies for all practice locations Serve as primary liaison with Performance Medical (X-ray equipment vendor) for service requests, preventive maintenance scheduling, and equipment procurement/installation projects Troubleshoot and resolve X-ray equipment malfunctions across all sites, performing hands-on repairs when appropriate PACS Administration & IT Coordination Administer Picture Archiving and Communication System (PACS) including user account creation, privilege management, and system configuration Provide technical support and troubleshooting for PACS-related issues across all locations Facilitate integration efforts between EPIC EMR and upgraded PACS platforms Multi-Site Coordination Act as centralized point of contact for all radiology technologists across clinic and urgent care locations Coordinate with Radlinx radiologists for imaging interpretation services at urgent care facilities Manage EPIC-related technical issues and workflow concerns for radiology department Talent Acquisition & Development Lead recruitment efforts including resume screening and candidate interviews for radiology technologist positions Develop and implement comprehensive onboarding and training programs for new hires, either directly or through coordination with experienced technologists
